Friday, August 13 – Village Lanes - USBC Blue Pattern - 208 Owen Rd, Monona

Format: 5 qualifying games, top 5 advance to step ladder finals. 1:6 scholarship ratio.  All scholarships will be put into SMART accounts.

Averages/Handicap: 90% handicap of a 220 average (maximum of 70 pins per game). Youth entrants will use highest current USBC youth league average based on a minimum of 9 games as of the tournament date. If no current average, the highest USBC youth league average of 9 games or more from the previous season will be used.  If neither of the above youth will bowl scratch. Each tournament is open to USBC Youth bowlers only (bowlers who have not reached their 20^th birthday on or before August 1, 2009).

During Competition: No hats allowed. The use of any electronic devices will not be allowed (cell phone, i-Pods, headphones, MP3 players, etc.). No smoking, alcohol, chewing tobacco, foul language and abuse to the bowling center equipment will be permitted.  Neat appearance in clothing and personal grooming is required by all bowlers.

Brackets: ^$5.00 each collected at sign-in for games 2, 3, 4 of qualifying.

Practice Available: Want to practice on the White and Blue USBC patterns?  Beginning the first week of May you can practice on the White pattern on Wednesdays and on the Blue Pattern on Thursdays at Badger Bowl. Cost is $10.
